UK Address and Lead forms

Hi all,Newbie here and cracking on with it.I’ve noticed when using any of the lead forms requiring an address I get an error when using a UK address.Is there an easy fix I can copy in, i';m assuming other UK based users have been through all this before.RegardsSteve

Google Tracking Template and Final URL Suffix

Can anyone help me figure out what this is and what I need to do here? I’m reading the Google help pages and it honestly feels like a circular firing squad. They define it, dont give you any example, and don't show you what to put in your site. Am I that dense? Or is this just Google having fun with people like me. I’ve spent the last hour reading, re-reading, pulling my hair out and jumpiing up and down yelling every possible swear word I can think of LOL,. BTW - the only reason I think I need this is because I’m at 100% optimization, yet it’s still telling me that my ad had a problem. GoDaddy DNS Changes

@beth Hi Beth - I’m responding to the message you sent my VA here in the community to get feedback from others as well as your input.“Hi Grace,I forgot to mention that I noticed your godaddy domain name looks like it was reset in godaddy and isn't linked up to the site.Please come in to live chat with your login info and the guys in chat will get that fixed for you.Thanks for your help with this.Beth” I discovered last night that my site was down. I worked with Ryan in chat and we seemed to have fixed it. What we found was that my DNS settings had gotten changed. We both couldn’t understand how this could happen. We fixed it. If it wasn’t for Ryan, I wouldn’t have been able to fix this issue in a timely manner. Huge shout out to Ryan for helping me work through it.I was on the phone for 2 hours with GoDaddy last night. And they could not tell me how the DNS settings got changed. They could only tell me when I changed them back to the right settings. So I’ve checked in again this

Company Name Importance

Company name question: When I chose a name a month ago for my company I didn't realize that it might be a good idea to include "house buyers" in the title. I went with Sentry Real Estate, but looking back I feel like I should have gone with "Veteran Home Buyers" or something like that more related to REI. Any opinions on if it's worth changing it now? I already have the LLC and the webpage built (only been a month) but just trying to get opinions on it.

Do you recommend, I do a city site for each condo territory? Or do you think it will cannibalize itself and work against us? Google Domain CNAME/Domain Forwarding

Hello, first time posting in here and hoping someone can answer this for me. I’ve been going crazy trying to figure this out. I’ve successfully set up previous carrot websites in the past when my domain was registered with GoDaddy. However, my newest domain was purchased on Google Domains and I’m running into issues setting up the DNS settings and domain forwarding.If I set up the “host name” field as www, “type” field as CNAME and the “data” field as carrot.com, I have no issues. However, as soon as I try to forward the domain (http://) and my domain.com (without a www. in front of it). It makes me delete the CNAME and vice versa. If I create the domain forwarding first, it works fine… but then as soon as I try to create the CNAME afterwards, it makes me delete the domain forwarding that I just completed. Seems as though, there’s no way to do both? I’ve followed Carrot’s google domain setup tutorial but it doesn’t work either due to the “synthetic records” tab not appearing in my Goog

What is the best PPC Manager to hire

I currently do a ton of lead business online for cash offers but I want to run ads to my own site and/or landing page rather than pay for leads. I have used a lot of ppc management in the past with my retail business, and I know finding the best manager is what can separate a great business and a failure. I know there are some recommendations that carrot has, but I want to hear from the real people that are converting leads and hear who they find to be the best. I will not run my own campaign. I am thinking of starting with a $5k budget and then increase over 6 months to something like $20-$30k a month. Thanks for your recommendations in advance.

Planning location Pages: Canonical URL structure

Okay- so let’s talk about location pages.I am a real estate agent in a huge metro - millions of people.I assume I need to niche down for a variety of reasons.Question 1:Canonical URL… so the big city is Seattle, and there are many municipalities around here that could be considered suburbs, where the population is like 50K people. Let’s say Shoreline is one, where I live.Then within the Suburb, are many neighborhoods, such as gated communities and school districts, etc. that might have a few thousand people. Say, Richmond BeachShould I try to structure the page as: www.Home.com/locations/Shoreline/Richmond-Beach or should it just be www.Home.com/locations/Richmond-Beach ? It seems like my “locations” category page will be messy and all jumbled and hard to search, with thousands of neighborhoods, but maybe that’s okay and no one goes there anyway, this is just supposed to be found on the SERPs. Brokers: How Do You Spread The Word For An Open House?

Hey, Carrot Fam!I’m doing my first open house in a couple of weeks and wanted to check in with my fellow agents/brokers to see what you all do to spread the word and get as many people to the open house as possible!Currently I’m getting these things ready to roll:Sending handwritten invitations for 25 of their neighbors (with my card of course) Having fresh baked cookies and coco for refreshments Testing a blitzkrieg ad campaign the week before to drive traffic to the Open House Partnering with a lender who will be on site, providing some of the signs needed, and reposting social posts. Should I Re-Do Old Blogs From Content Packs Or Focus On Moving Forward

301 redirect

Hi. We’ve been getting an error 404 when doing a site audit on our website. The page no longer exists since we changed the page title/name. The way to fix the 404 error is to create a 301 redirect to the new page (I’m sorry, I might not be using the right terms here). I found where to set 301 redirect but the question is how are you going to tell the old page to go to the new page? Old URL is https://www.ibuynorthtexashomes.com/sell-your-house-fast-north-texas/ and the new URL is https://www.ibuynorthtexashomes.com/sell-your-house-fast-tx/. These 2 pages are the same, we just changed the page title and updated the page URL to match the new page title.Thank you!
