So I’ve been on carrot for the better part of this year.  I’ve had all kinds of life distractions - who doesn’t, I guess. Started the 30 day challenge in August - haven’t finished it yet.  I’m not getting any leads, and I feel the pressure.  One of my keywords was in first position for a week or 2 now it’s slipping.  

I am open to all suggestions on how to get this thing running more effectively.

I need some guidance on scripts and talking with sellers as well.

@beaconri Thanks for this! This makes you intermediate which is the word I couldn’t think of when I posted to you yesterday.

Carrot is for all real estate investors and agents regardless of their exit strategy: wholesale, fix and flip, buy and hold, etc.

 

On to the next item: google analytics

The google analytics that you are trying to claim ownership is the one that Carrot has installed to display your site stats in the site Dashboard.

You will need to create your own google analytics account. This page will show you how: https://help.carrot.com/tutorial/install-google-analytics/

@TimOpp is Carrot only for wholesalers?  I’m sure I can get deals to hold on to myself?  I don’t want to use this platform for “just wholesaling”  Am I wrong?  

No Carrot is for anybody who wants website lead gen. Wholesalers are most common, but yea many different types of investors or agents use Carrot. Ive seen not real estate businesses use it even!

I can’t believe you’re still thanking me for my help lol.  you are helping me tremendously.  you rock!

not long ago, we were in a discussion of VA’s and the cost associated with starting one up.  I’ve been lucky enough to have one handed to me, and I didn’t realize what i had until this week  i made a commitment around xmas to get stuff off of my plate.  i suppose i hit that point..but she has been working with a fellow investor for a while, and i don’t even need to get her up to speed.  she’s quick on the uptake, and she gets it.  she says she doesn’t know SEO, but I bet she would learn it really quick just from being on here.  can my VA log into this site under a separate login and take over some of this gobbly goop?

Once she sets up her Carrot account (on your site), she can log into the community.
