Has Anyone Successfully Created A Step 2 Zapier Flow Into Podio?

Hey, everyone!

I’ve got my Step 1 flow working with Zapier, but I can’t seem to get a solid one for my Step 2.

The flow I’ve been trying to make is:

Search for Item (I’ve been using the address) » Update Podio Item » Fill in First Name, Last Name and everything else goes into Property Description” which is a multi-line text field.

The snag I’m running into is with the Podio Item Search. The address that it’s searching for is the title of the lead. Not sure if that’s causing an issue.

Hey @sdjohnso,

 

There are multiple ways how to set up Podio and it will all depend on how you have it set up..

What I usually do, on the step 1 form Zap, I add the email address on the first name field (if its available) it will update the name field after they completed the step 2 form..

Then create another Zap for the step 2 form, webhook>Podio use Find. On Search Field use First name then Search Field Value - email address. 

And on the next step, add Podio - and choose Update.. Then on the item to update, click the Podio icon on the option then look for ID with a number.. That should do it.. 

Let me know if this doesn’t work..

@jatolentino, for the “Item To Be Updated” field in the “Update Item In Podio” Zapier task, am I using Custom » “Find Item In Podio” » “First Name”? This is where my error is coming in. Identifying the searched item.
